The Baermans

I have posted a few of their pictures below, but wanted to share a slideshow of their images.

Jensine and Elliot are like the little sister and brother that I never had. I babysat for them when they were wee children. Now they are almost teenagers. That makes me fell OLD!! I am going to have the opportunity to photograph Jensine's Bat Mitzvah in Novemeber!! Looking forward to the celebration!

Here is the slideshow.....

Georgia on my mind!!!

I had the opportunity to photograph one active little girl last night! Don't let the pretty white dress fool you, she could hang with my two boys anyday!!! This was a fun shoot! Here are some favorites.

I have taken alot of pictures over the years, but this one probably takes the cake for my favorite portrait!

Busy as a Bee!

I have been really busy lately and have just now got caught up from the past few weeks and wanted to share my work. Below are some of my favorite shots from this past month. The picture immediately under this post is of my son Joey. The reason for me posting this shot is to remind everyone that the most important thing in life is to take a picture of it! A fellow photographer friend that lives in Utah, Davina Fear, has a wonderful motto/slogan for her company.... "Life... I'll take a picture of that". She does beautiful work and has a very powerful section on her website under the "Davina" tab. In this section of her site, she describes special moments in her life that she wished she had a picture of, such as baking cookies with her grandmother, talking about life with her kids, a picture of the day her mom first held her as a newborn. These moments are what life is made up of and I am passionate about the importance of taking pictures of them. That is why I take a photojournalistic approach to my photography work, with children especially. I love to capture the true emotions and personalities of people. When I look at the picture below it makes me smile. I've got a picture of my kids playing together on a hot summer day and will always look at this picture and remember the innocence of their age! I have found my passion in life...... taking a picture of it!
